Septi Bukula is the founder and director of Rendzo Network Africa, a collaborative network of independent travel and tourism entrepreneurs founded in South Africa and now with presence across some 15 African countries. A development practicioner by background, he initiated and is currently implementing a multi-stakeholder UThukela-Drakensberg Tourism Cluster, in partnership with KZN Tourism & Film Authority. 

Prior to his involvement in tourism he was active in the field of public policy on enterprileneurship and small business development and is credited with drafting some of South Africa's public policies. He has served on several local and international boards, and currently serves on the boards of The Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) and TCI Network, based in Barcelona, Spain.
