Moses Kotane Mayor
Nketu Nkotswe is the daughter of the late Mr Rantlhatsa Lesejane and Mrs Sennye Lesejane. Born in Pella the on the 4th September 1956.
She obtained a BA Degree in Education at VISTA University. Further obtained an Honours Degree in Education at Potchefstroom University. She is also a member of SACE (South African Council of Educators)
She started teaching career at Odi High School in Garankua and later moved to Rakoko High School in Mabeskraal where she later left to join politics.
Nketu worked as a radio announcer at SABC (Radio Tswana) in Pretoria. She was the founding member of CPF under Sun City Police Station, a member NARU (National African Farmer’s Union). She is a former member of AFASA (African Farmers association of South Africa) as a female farmer and also a member WARD (Women in Agriculture and Rural Development)
POLITICS
A member in good standing of the ANC in ward 23 Moses Kotane Subregion. She served as chairperson of the Women’s League in the branch and also and also the BEC secretary during the same period.
The ANC saw potential in her and was elected deputy regional secretary of the Bojanala Region and subsequently served as the acting regional secretary from 2014 to 2016.

She was elected as ward councilor from 2011 to 2016 and 2016 to 2021. She served as a member of the Mayoral committee as the chairperson of various portfolios including the:
