Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development
Rosemary Nokuzola Capa is a seasoned South African politician currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture. With a background in nursing and midwifery, she transitioned into politics, holding key leadership roles, including Executive Mayor of OR Tambo District Municipality and MEC for Rural Development and Agrarian Reform.
Elected to the National Assembly in 2014, she chaired the Portfolio Committee on Social Development before serving as Deputy Minister of Small Business Development (2019-2021) and later in Agriculture, Rural Development, and Land Reform (2021-2024). A dedicated member of the African National Congress (ANC), she continues to drive policies focused on rural development, agriculture, and economic growth.
